Portrait #2

Review

Camera: Cannon

Lens: Zoom Lens on portrait mode

Subject: The subject is facing the camera in a relaxed stance near the bridge railing.

Perspective/Angle: For this photo, we tried to use shapes to fill the screen, specifically triangles. As the subject rests her left hand on her head, she creates an imaginary triangle. Her left hand resting on the railing creates another triangle. Finally with her arms stretched out, she herself creates another triangle. The idea of creating three triangles helps create space in photographs while helping the subject stay natural.

Reviews: This photoshoot taught me how to lead the models through out the entire photo taking process. With this photoshoot, I realized that an important part of taking pictures is learning how to make the subject feel comfortable. Playing music and making jokes the entire time helps a lot! Overall this photoshoot was a great learning experience.
